EdyFi eSchool provides digital solutions and subscription-based services to educational institutions and affiliated users. As a policy, all refund and cancellation requests are handled with transparency, fairness, and in accordance with agreed contractual terms.
No Direct Refunds from EdyFi: Students and parents typically engage with institutions directly for academic services. EdyFi does not control or process tuition or service fees unless explicitly provided through our portal.
Digital Access: Fees paid directly for digital resources (if any) are non-refundable once access is activated or materials are downloaded.
Trial-Based Services: Services offered under free trial periods will not incur charges unless a manual upgrade is initiated by the user or school.
Institutions may cancel their subscription within the onboarding window as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). A pro-rated refund will be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:
No custom development or branding has begun
No system configuration, onboarding training, or data migration has been completed
The cancellation request is made within the agreed onboarding period
After the onboarding window (usually 15 days unless stated otherwise in the agreement), cancellation is still permitted. However, any fees already paid for the current billing cycle are non-refundable. Services will continue until the end of that period.
For institutions with 1-year or 5-year contracts:
Partial refunds may be issued only if cancellation occurs before the project execution begins.
Customization costs, consultation hours, and administrative charges may be deducted from any refund.
Refund requests after execution initiation will not be entertained.
All requests must be submitted in writing to care@edyfi.in
Requests must include the institution's name, registered email ID, subscription reference, and reason for cancellation
Refund processing may take up to 10 business days post-verification
Channel Partner fees are non-refundable once onboarding is complete and access to the partner dashboard or client portals has been granted.
If there are issues with activation or partnership compliance, EdyFi may offer credits or partial refund within 7 working days of the original transaction, pending review.
Refunds will not be processed in cases where service interruption occurs due to:
Natural calamities, war, or acts of God
Government restrictions or orders
Internet or third-party platform failure outside EdyFi's control
All disputes regarding payments, refunds, or cancellations shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and will be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of India.
